When a Premier League bookmaker suspends a market
Keep a missing or suspended quote distinct from a price and from a cancelled fixture.
Read the state
The official fixture may remain scheduled while a bookmaker temporarily stops quoting one 1X2 outcome or goals market. A blank feed cell can also reflect unavailable coverage or a source failure. Do not infer a cancellation or fill the gap with an old decimal price. The page should state what was and was not returned.
Do not rank incomplete rows
If Book A shows the full home/draw/away trio but Book B is missing the draw, Book B's home and away quotes can still be compared on their exact result rows if current, but Book B has no complete 1X2 trio for a margin calculation. The missing draw is not a zero or an implied probability of zero.
Recheck before acting
A market may reopen at a new price. Keep the source capture time visible and verify the exact fixture, settlement period and current quote on the bookmaker's site. If the entire API fails, display a feed error rather than the misleading message that no Premier League games exist.
Worked example
Illustration: Book A lists home 2.10, draw 3.40, away 3.60. Book B lists home 2.05 and away 3.70 but no draw. Book B has no complete three-outcome market for a margin calculation at that snapshot.
